Gayle Horn, a Licensed Professional Counselor, is in private practice with Psychological Network in St. Charles, Missouri. She was an educator for 17 years and a high school counselor for 20 years in the City of St. Charles School District. She was responsible for the development of the high school Peer Helping program, wrote curriculum and co-taught the high school Peer Helping program for 10 years. She created a prevention theater presentation that was presented to hundreds of school-age children. Now retired from the school district she continues to train and consult in the area of Peer Helping. Her work and trainings are with young people and adult supervisors. She recently worked with Peer Helping sponsors in a local school district to create a district-wide Peer Helping curriculum based on the NAPP Standards and Ethics.

Gayle is a charter member of the Missouri Peer Helpers Association . She served as conference chair and was co-editor of the MPHA newsletter. She served as the president of the MPHA for two consecutive years. As a board member of NAPP for six years she co-organized a national conference. She also served as Vice President of NAPP. Gayle has published in the Peer Facilitator Quarterly and presented at 15 of the NAPP conferences. She currently serves on the NAPP Awards Committee.
