Donna Brinton

Donna, a Peer Helping Advocate and Trainer, is currently the co-chair of the NAPP Membership Committee and was elected to the NAPP Board for a term beginning in January 2006. She is a board member of the California Association 0f Peer Programs, serving as a CAPP Trainer, Board Secretary, and member of the Executive Committee. She also serves on the Youth Empowering Systems (a prevention organization) Board and is a trainer for the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center.

In the California Bay Area, Donna started Aragon High School's Peer Helping Program in 1991 and coordinated the peer programs in the district. She retired as the teacher/coordinator of this program in June 2002. The Aragon Peer Helping graduates continue to make a difference as one-on-one listeners, conflict mediators, peer educators, and group facilitators.
